    Sorting out S Doris's immediate future

    Steven Doris - Injured since his second game back .. has been unable to train at all due to his stomach injury.

    His deal is up on Sunday but Dundee boss Brown to speak to Paul Sheerin this week to see whether AFC want to extend the deal." - view external link

    This sounds really promising for us. Dundee will want him to play but he seems a way off first team football at Dens.

    It would be ideal to have him back with Robertson also competing for a start. It would at last give us some real options in attack.

    Only if we can be sure Doris will be fit.

    If you offered me Steve Doris fit in the next few weeks until the end of the season I would snap your hand off.

    It is a no brainer, we know what we are getting.

    Apparently Doris is going back to Dundee. His fitness situation isn't fully resolved. He may be available to us again as an emergency loan later in the season.
