    Hmmm. His expertise seems to be in talent identification and performance analysis, he’s worked for the FA but it’s not clear if he has experience on the field or in management, which I expected. Looks to be a bit of a gamble, but I wish him well.

    True. Hope he gets on ok with Williamson; they’re pretty much of an age so let’s hope so. They have an important window ahead but some even more important games before then.
