Gutted.
The very definition of cult hero.
We were mostly p1sh during that era but I had some of the best laughs following the Don's in them days.
Sad news.
Probably the last Aberdeen manager I genuinely liked

Sorry to hear this.
A good man, forced into working with one hand tied behind his back.
Sleep easy min.
He made a dark period actually quite fun.
RIP
Hope your hereafter is full of mini skirts Ebbe min.
Same here. Always look back at that time with a smile - & I quite enjoy a grumble.
Some piss up in Berlin
It was autocorrect that changed Dons to Don's in the earlier post and I canna be @rsed changing it.
From Richard Gordon’s ‘Tales From The Dugout’:
“Referee Kenny Clark, when he was fourth official as the Dons were being routed by Motherwell,
“Ebbe turns to me and says, ‘I want to make a substitution’. I remind him I need the…numbers of the players going on and coming off so that I can input them into my electronic board. He…returns with the sheet, but it’s only got the number of the player he wants to put on. I tell him I need to know who he wants subbed off, and he replies, ‘You pick. They’re all pish’.”
It was a direct quotation from the book, so the tautological ‘input...into’ is not mine
Thought Id pop on to make my tribute to Ebbe, He was a lovely Man despite us taking some awful wallopings during his (en) duration, I once spent a lovely hour in his company at the Braemar Gathering in the beer tent of course, He absolutely loved Aberdeen and Scotland RIP Sir x
