We should be beating "the likes of Morecambe".
Anything less than a comprehensive victory will be a massive failure by Duff and his squad.
I always have a glance at the opposition's stats before we play them and try to form an opinion of what we are facing .
Morecambe have the lowest possession stats in league one , 37% .
That is a pretty low figure and it would appear that they play a more direct game .
Clearly we don't want to be lured in to a fight and we need to concentrate on playing our own game .
Morecambe haven't won at home yet , just saying .

Is Cole Stockton still playing for them Animal ?
This has got a huge banana skin attached to it, and these are the sort of fixtures we've done badly in over the years.
Id be delighted with some sort of performance and a 0-1 win, if possible.
Looking at what we have available , at least 3 changes are needed IMO, Martin needs to now be given a chance to play the role Thomas had been playing , Aitchison is better used up front working hard and prepared to press is his game , with a goal or 2 in his locker , who plays upfront with him ? i would give Adam Phillips that opportunity to replace Norwood, 21 goals in 86 appearances for Morecambe over 3 loan spells and apparently a very good finisher , Cadden needs to start also , I've a feeling Jalo will be a late sub alongside Cole ,
