    Been drawn away at Halifax in the next round of the FA Trophy..

    We don’t seem to have much luck in these draws. Most appealing thing about this competition is probably the chance to play some different teams we otherwise never would, but we just seem to draw someone in our league every single time.

    I'm happy we get to play our league rivals, gives our fringe players a chance against similar strength teams.

    Not concerned if we go out of the trophy to be fair, as much as a winning mentality can carry you forward, with the amount of games that are going to start to back up we could do with a Saturday off now and again.

    I'd be happy to see us withdraw from this competition in the next round. Credit to the lads for getting this far, but our main interest is an advancing above Halifax in the league table instead.

    The only positive I can see in getting Halifax is that it gives us a chance to slightly avenge that quite frankly frightening result we suffered at the Shay earlier in the season - although id take a defeat in the trophy against them any day of the week if it meant we beat them in the league later in the season.
