    Chimbonda = Liability

    I said this when we signed him and it was a poor signing. Yesterday was yet another pathetic attempt at defending.Positional sense is shocking for a so called ex prem defender... How many times has he been caught out..? Starting to lose count... McSweeney gets booed off for him? A joke
    Sorry Kav but you have got this completely wrong.

    Hold on a sec. McSweeney cost us valuable points against Shrewsbury and Crawley through complete f*** ups, worse than anything Chimbonda has done.

    Chimbonda may not be great, but you're making out like we've just released Philip Lahm.

    re: Chimbonda = Liability

    The two full backs got little protection from a 5 man midfield yesterday. This has been a problem for most of the season. When Robson plays further forward whoever is left back at least gets some protection. Lawrence is out of position most of the time and Amoo is all over the place. This is not just a defensive problem because when our full backs get the ball very often there is no outlet for them down the line because our wingers are too narrow and/or are not pushing forward enough.

    Poor team selection to put Chimbonda back in the side against an in-form player when he's just back from injury.

    The problem is when we are playing 4-3-3 the two forwards either side of miller tuck in and the only real width comes from the full backs , I am sure Kav would like to play a 3 -5-2 type formation but you need the right players to be able to do this.
