For all of my criticism of Allardyce I think he did the right thing with the players he picked. He got the formation wrong though.

You can't expect 6 or 7 kids to perform against a side in the top 4 of the Championship and personally I think a couple of them have done well.

We have so many injuries how would it have looked if more senior players got knocks for let's face it a much more important game on Saturday ?

Embarrassing ? Not really. Losing at home to Sheffield Utd. is embarrassing.

    It's 5

Nowhere to hide for the **** twins or Allardyce now.

He can hardly use the "Youth" team as an excuse because even a reasonable youth team shouldn't be going down in this way.

It shows the gulf in understanding between how these youngsters have been taught to play and how they are being asked to play under this manager.

The whole thing looks in terminal decay. The negativity and doom seems to have infected the entire football club.

The **** twins need to hire a damn good footballing/technical director. How on Earth they can envisage running a Premier League club without one is just mind-blowing...
The footballing aspects of our club resembles a ship without anyone at the wheel.

    Mission accomplished.

At least we survived in the cup for longer than the Spuds.

Roy Keane just confirmed it when he said he thought Sam Allardyce was not up for it from listening to him in his pre-match interview.

Haha, just what I was thinking

Truly disgraceful on any level you care to look at it.

    A blight on the clubs.

sooner he goes the better, whoever takes over , a caretaker anybody.

i cant beleive there is anybody else that can cause the a club so much embarrassment in the ways sam has managed to
