    McSheffrey

The final piece of the jigsaw?

Certainly McSheffrey is solid cover for Marcus Williams on the left with more of a goal threat than the unlucky Andy Welsh would provide.

Real competition for places all over the pitch now possibly with the exception of centre back. If Mirfin and Canavan can stay fit for the rest of the season we'll take some stopping.

The bench is actually looking stronger now than it did in the Championship!

I hope with all these signings we are managing to stay within the fair play rules. We certainly need to offload some ballast and quickly.

The team is very strong now, 1st or 2nd is on the horizon here and is the expectation now. Although Russ may try and play it down we have the team to achieve it and finishing below 3rd would be an underachievement.

Agreed. Anything below 3rd would be unthinkable. Top spot must be achievable. There can't be many if any other L2 clubs with such a strong squad. It's a good job what with the Fleetwood game coming 2 days after a saturday match.

Its hard to think of a time in any of the divisions we have been in where we had such strength in the squad
