    re: Quiz Time,

I believe the people in England are entitled to the same service as us here in Scotland. This constant privatisation of everything is absolutely despicable - I suspect the Tories/New Labour will do their utmost to sell off the NHS in Scotland if the No vote wins.

Is it because you don't have the intellect or just plain thickness that stops you from engaging in serious debate ?

When civilised and serious debate IS undertaken, women (and men) begin to realise that the prospect of governing ourselves with policies appropriate to Scotland is achievable and is being proposed for the benefit of this country. The prospect of the UK continuing with policies which further impoverish a large section of the population with all its attendant health and social problems whilst politicians appeal to the wealthier in society looks like a poor deal compared with the possibility of developing fairer policies.

The current prospect in the UK is not status quo, but, to cut billions from Scotland's funding and to be deprived of a fair block grant when compared to the revenues per head raised in Scotland for the UK Treasury. This will put so much pressure on funding th

Politics, Politics, Ah the banter, PS this thread not for intellectual pygmies, and gay bashers, sorry Oh ma Sides n R Zep best you 2 stick to hate filled and abusive threads and leave primary 6+ to the rest of us,

In the UK, we can do nothing about this because Scottish votes never count at Westminster, our MPs being so outnumbered. Powers can, and are already being, taken away from the Scottish Parliament (eg Renewables industry). There is no certainty with the union and no power. With full control of our revenues which will only happen with Independence, we can invest in industry, our own social policies and try to do much, much better than the UK cares to do for its general population. The economy, even without oil, is no worse than the rest of the UK and our percentage debt obligation is lower, so the only thing stopping us is ourselves, Every vote will count when electing our government. This make3s absolute total and complete sense !!! anyone who can't see this is a fool !
