Just been hearing that Portsmouth is to have a "minister for Portsmouth " what's that all about ?

Just a political softner following the transfer of shipbuilding jobs to Scotland.

I've heard today (Thursday ) it's because they are losing 900 jobs !
I'm hoping that they don't give us our own minister over here in Doncaster after the announcement of 12000 jobs going from the council, the last time they got involved ( with social services) things got much worse !
