No point in buying Griffith if we are to keep Stokes, get a Striker for the champs league and ditch about 7-8 players from the squad and buy another couple of players

He'll score goals in the SPFL but Celtic already have guys like that - scoring goals in the CL is a different kettle of fish mind.

Shopping in the 1M quid market is unlikely to get you a CL standard striker.
I'll happily talk to you about football, signing targets and even what you like from the Chinese when you have the baws to tell us what team you support.
Post of the week. He wants to criticise every club but hasn't got the spine to tell us who he supports so he can get some criticism back.
To be honest we would probably get better debate if no one said what team they supported then we might get more honest opinons and not what people think they should post because they follow a certain team or have a thread fall in

Oh dear, another who seems to think the merit of one's argument is predicated on knowledge of what team they support.

If I said it was Alloa would that change things for you?
Absolutely not, but I find it a wholly disingenuous when you're on here criticising other teams without telling anyone what team you support.

Stokes got a 3 year deal in October, Jimmy, he's not going anywhere.

We could have a front three of Pukki, Stokes and Griffiths. If I don't laugh, I'll greet.

That's exactly the policy we should be pursuing Jimmy.

A strong first team, cut the depth/size of the squad and generally let the kids fill in for injuries.

It's the only way to play in the SPFL and actually have a chance at competing in the CL.

Intersting how it seems to completely paralyse some posters who cant debate with someone not knowing what team he supports because it removes the 'whit about you' angle.

What team he supports is irrelevant to the thread topic.

Not sure what Celtic fans are expecting.

Griffiths would do well if Celtic sign him.

Celtic simply cant afford 6m players and the associated huge wages of 40k to 60 k per week. And you are guaranteed nothing.

You are never going to win or progress in the Champions league anyway. The odd lucky season aside.

Key is to sign good prospects and sell them on as you have been doing. Forget buying proven goal scorers. That ship has sailed chaps. Get real.
