    Season Ticket prices

Ia??ve been reading with interest the debate about ticket prices and increasing them. I attended my first Toronto FC game this past July and although my ticket was free, I was gob-smacked at the price a?? $65 was the face value on the ticket and believe me, the football was dire. The fans were great and the stadium was sold out, but the football was no better than watching a pub team. I just checked the season tickets for 2014: $684 a?? $1,273, that somewhere around A?380 a?? A?707. Coke was $9, Beer was $12-16 and food was about the same, Parking was $20. Therea??s no option to follow the team to away games because youa??re looking at 6-8+ hours to the nearest team.

This is supply and demand driving prices up.

2.6 million local folk can easily fill a 20k stadium for their top level of football.
