Verts's contract is up for negotiation in July after 2yrs. He can either leave or re negotiate an improved contract

Of course if they offer A£25m levy will accept.

I rate him as a player so would want him to stay but this would also bump his price up!!

Two seasons without Cl for a player who has been it in with Ajax for 6 yrs previous to arriving here.

We need a LB, not a converted winger who cannot even cross a ball when he gets forward, pretending to be a LB.
Yet no addressing this situation in Jan, when we missed out in summer?
Rose is just not a defender. with him at LB and no left sided player who can also defend when needed we will not be good enough for CL
