Don't join Southern you just encourage them, if anyone speaks for supporters, and I'm not sure anyone can claim to speak for such a diverse bunch, then it would be the supporters clubs.

Why some groups seem to get the Governments and medias ear when their membership is so tiny astounds me.

The proposal did not get passed as insufficient people turned up for the AGM so it was unconstitutional as inquorate!!!

I'd say not many people are bothered about the organisation.
To paraphrase Marx {Groucho, not Karl} I wouldn't want to be a member of any organisation that hasn't got Rattea as a member. FACT. COMEDY GOLD

    I think they're responsible for this mate.[/quote]

    cheers for that bear.

southern - best to put the links in the OP as a little more context makes much more sense mate :-)

very good point about us being a diverse range of people.

I don't wanna slate them too much because I haven't had any dealings with them.

if their agenda is clean, I don't see why this move is such a bad thing? especially for a club that has had crooks as previous owners. it just makes it a little more difficult to asset strip us I would have thought.
