    Tube Strike

Looks like the tube strike is going ahead which means I will struggle to get back to Kent unless I drive in. Any locals got any suggestions of where to park or alternative ways to travel please? How close can I get on the DLR for example?

    Many thanks

I'm not sure which lines are running, but the strike has scuppered my plans for going tonight.

You could walk to West Ham and get the DLR to Stratford?

20 min walk to Forest Gate Stn.

Forest Gate - Liverpool St about every 15 mins takes 12 mins.

    Walk/bus to London Bridge.

Thanks EE, was thinking I could drive to Ebbsfleet and get the train to Stratford and then the DLR to West Ham or Canning Town. Have walked from Canning Town before but not West Ham as I thought it wasn't a good walk?

Thanks MV that may be the option.

I'd have thought Canning Town was a bit further although not sure?

Neither are the nicest walks mate, but can be done in under an hour even with crowds, either way, it won't be pleasant.

Mr Veep's option may be best, but that's about the same amount of walking, it's a good half hour from Liv Street to London Bridge.

Saw on the BBC that because of the strike Fulham's home game v Liverpool may get called off. Not just the fans who are affected of course but the staff such as stewards.

That being the case how come our game will 100% be going ahead. Quite a few fans are not going to be able to attend tonight because of the strike. Getting there will be fine but it's the getting home that will be the problem so i imagine the same for our staff aswell.

Nethier us or Norwich are playing at the weekend, might have made more sense to move the game to then.

Hope you can somehow get there EE and bbiron, not often West Ham will win three games on the trot.
