Shame we never started a "Sandwell march into Europe" thread at the start of the season.
They said the were nailed on to qualify for the Europa League and had an outside chance of top 4.
Even some of their players boasted of a top 6 finish. Anelka signed he said he hoped to conquer Europe. Though, to be fair to him, we now know that he was not talking about football.
