The Lichties can escape relegation - with or without playoffs (E Fife did it last year by the latter route). The next 3 games will be critical - we've given too many points away this season to our direct rivals, and failed to translate performances into results

One game at a time, but it's a massive tasks
When things have not been going well , sometimes blind faith is all the fan has left, surely you realise there is no logic at all in the mind of a fan when they are in the position we are

Arbroath have of course already beat Dunfermline this season away from home - so we can most certainly beat them again.

A.F.C are also more than capable of beating Forfar, Brechin, East Fife and Airdrie - let there be no doubt about that.

Expecting four back to back wins is perhaps raising expectations a little too much - but we can hope this happens and it is possible.

The bottom two places in the league at the end of the season could yet go to the final match of the day - so it's still all to play for.

I also expect other teams who are sitting just below mid table to get sucked into the relegation zone.

It's not over till the fat lady sings.

    C'mon the 'broath.

I find blind faith an essential crutch in following the Lichties for many years. Rational thinking undermines the whole basis of lower league football supporters.

... and yet repeated assertion of a mere article of faith is just not that interesting in terms of a discussion. In theology as well as football support, its maybe just a bit more stimulating to offer some basis for an argument - for or against.

For example, I believe we can stay up BECAUSE...

we will stay up, I base this completely on gut feeling, blind faith and fixtures we have left

Arbroath are starting to look good.

Paul Sheerin has got a gutsy self belief about the squad of players, the team are now playing with confidence and there is a good team spirt within the squad.

Sheerin and the players have a "we can do it" attitude and give 100% effort ( Nicoll, Linn, Cook, Sheerin and others never stop trying ).

There is a new confidence in the team and if everything clicks on Saturday it should be a great match.

    Onwards and upwards.
