Ivory Coast striker Lacina Traore has revealed he chose to move on loan to Everton over West Ham because of the Toffees' passing style.
"I looked at the teams' styles of play and Everton are more of a passing side - their style suits my technical ability," said the 23-year-old.

"I think with that sort of emphasis on skill and passing, I am hoping I can settle in as quickly as possible."

he is a tall b ugger alright, but he doesn't look as tall as Crouch to me. About as good in the air though, but he is getting about the pitch and looks like they may have found a sort of replacement for Fellani! What ever happened to him...

As a rule I don't believe too much Sam or the owners say, you only have to listen to his press conferences to gage the bloke is full of sh1t.

Much like Redknapp he's full of excuses and nothing is ever his fault and he's also been investigated for his dodgy dealings with agents too. Obviously old Candle Face can be charming, plays better football and tells an amusing anecdote but the two men are not dissimilar.

    always room for improvement though.

So he only made his debut today?

Imagine the uproar had we signed him and he didn't play for a month!

Went off early doors yesterday with a recurrence of his injury.

    A bullet neatly dodged.
