Come to think about it, Scoth independence could be the making off of Cumbria. Just move all Trident stuff down to Barrow, we already have the "Energy Coast", we'll be fracking gas and oil in parts off of England that divn't matter (like Lancashire) so we can swop it for our water, we can grow berries on the coastal plain and we have engineering works ready to take over if Scoth stuff proves to be too expensive.
