Amazing game, still 40+ minutes left aswell.
A lot of moaning on here at times about our style of football but I'm watching Newcastle v Villa and it is total ****e.. No quality and lots of aimless long ball. I have never heard the Newcastle crowd so quiete.
how many games have they lost in a row? 5 or six?Originally Posted by PDGPaul

Feel sorry for those watching the Toon game. The Pool v Swans game is a belter.
4-3 Liverpool now.
Newcastle go ahead in extra time, Remy again. Relief for Pardew and real pressure now for Villa. Poor game which came alive in last ten minutes.

Liverpool 4-3 Swansea City
Newcastle United 1-0 Aston Villa
Two more great results for us, both Swansea and Villa could have gone level on points with us. So both now remain 3 behind.
Just now need Spurs to thrash Norwich.
Btw Liverpool have now scored more prem goals this season than Man City. (70)

Nice to see Ken Brown receiving what I guess was a birthday cake before the Norwich game. For those of you too young to know he was a great centre half for us in the sixties, playing next to Bobby Moore in the 64 FA cup win and the European cup winners cup in 65..
