    It was meant in jest.

    QPR need to be promoted. Their best bet would be a manager who has a good track record of instant success, knows the division well and has already worked with most of their players. That all adds up to Steve McClaren. It would cost them an enormous amount in compensation to steal our manage

    Does it matter whether Clough won matches against x, y and z or who we have beat under McLaren. The key point is we now 3rd in the league, caused, in part, by wins in games that Clough would have settled for a draw in. look at the first game of the season, 1-0 up and everyone is back despite us having a corner, McLaren would have gone for a second at that point.
