A brilliant days racing yesterday marred by Our Conor who sadly lost his life following a fall in the Champion Hurdle.

He took an awful tumble for Danny Mullins at the third .

A crying shame for Dessie Hughes, Barry Connell, Danny Mullins and the stable lads/lassies... Our Conor was only a baby at 5 years old and was a top prospect .

Well its a risk sport for horse and jockey and onwards to day two of The Festival.
