You almost had me there Papa !
Should give our not so illustrious neighbours real hope that one day they might have facilities that match their standing in the football world...but then again...
Credit where it's due - after years of playing second fiddle to considerably wealthier neighbours, and after a vast effort which saw the entire community pulling together (local politicians included), they have finally managed to secure approval to build a brand spanking new all-seater stadium.
Have to say, it looks very impressive - and after all those years in their run down edifice, they'll really appreciate just how important (and pleasant) it is to have state of the art facilities..
Well done Brentford.. - view external link

Good for them but a shame to see that the ground with a pub on each corner will be no more.
Good darts Papa!
Nearly got me too,but then I noticed the red seats and thought it was a bit strange for Papa to be giving those inbreds credit for anything
Nice looking ground, I should imagine the site of their old ground is worth a bob or two.
Seen plenty of nice pics like those. I'll believe it when it opens..
Hopefully it might come with some character rather than shiny red seats.
It just gets better and better for the Bees - last night, they scooped the Community Club of the Year award.
Safe to assume that their scores in the categories of not stealing from charities and not beating up the disabled helped them ease in front of at least one of the other nominees.. - view external link
