    rodgers

Interesting to read what Rodgers has to say on Man U and their threat of facing exile from the CL.
He says that no club, no mater what size, will find it easy to regain CL status once they lose it and they may face an extended exile.

He expects Liverpool, being in the CL, to also be in a position to attract the top class signings it was difficult to attract during their absence.
Something Man U, and of course us if we lose tomorrow, will not have to offer.

We could learn a thing or two from Liverpool.
They would not be where they are if they would have:

    1) sacked their manager for finishing 7th, behind Everton
    2) sold their Talisman in the summer

No doubt they will now sign top players to maintain their CL status once they get it, something that Spurs illogically failed to do for some reason.

edit: I still don't see us playing the 'tottenham way' after the sacking.
Unless the 'tottenham way' is the leaky defence and collapsing sides of old.

No the "Tottenham Way" is traditionally to play bright, attacking football to entertain those watching!!

How long is it since we've done that?
