O/T Had a nightmare last night.

I was getting marched out of school at Maltby in 1966.
On a cold September morning towards the craggs, when we came upon a concrete pool 6foot deep open air leaves floating on it, and were told to strip off and get in.
It was called The lido, or hell or something.
Was it a dream or reality.?

Funnily enough I used to take my kids to the newer Maltby baths before the current leisure centre was built.

I now go to the new pool which is light years removed from the old crags baths.

Admit it though, all that pain was worth it when you dried off and got to the little window selling sweets and crisps.
