The Official Arsenal v West Ham United Match Thread

I think I have an unbeaten match thread record - so getting in early with this one!

I can see a few goals going in - not all against us I should add.

Have no idea why, but am going for 3-3. Downing to get his first Prem goal for us. Might have to check the odds of that double

And now I can watch this thread slip down the list for the next week!

Let it be remembered: We were the last team to beat Arsenal at Highbury. And the first to win at the Emirates.

The game at Highbury became memorable for Sol Campbells substitution at half-time, after enduring a torrid-half, where he was at fault for a goal.

Indeed the Arsenal captain was so distraught, that he left the stadium without changing kit and travelled directly to Belgium; where he remained for one week, citing depression.

He later had the temerity to claim in a "ghosted" auto-biography that he would have won more england caps had he been white.

While most of us, enjoy a good laugh at the riduculous things in life, none of us can remember David Beckham, leaving old-trafford and nipping across the channel to hide-for-a-week, after a poor first half performance.

They weren't up for the battle against Everton so let's bully them off the park and crush them.

I want to see all of a largest most Orc like players on the field at the same time so lets have Carroll and Cole up front. Big Andy can thump Szczesny while he's in the air then Nolan can suplex him on the way down.

Reid and Collins at CB with James 'the cop crusher' Tomkins and Roger 'The Relegator' Johnson in midfield.

    That little sh1t Rosicky won't know what's hit him . . . . . .let's f.ucking kill them

My first trip to the Emirates, in a box taboot, already been warned by my host to behave myself

Can`t see us getting anything out of the game though

    Stranger things have happened.

No mate it was the game at Highbury. Campbell had a mare, one of his errors was allowing the ball under his foot for Woo's favourite all time Hammer, Nigel Reo-Coker, to run in on goal and score.

But if he'd been white he would have controlled and cleared the ball, resulting in him being awarded the England captaincy and certain elevation to the peerage in the New Years Honours list at some point.

Factor in the cup semi final. If Wigan turn them over, they'll have three days to stick themselves back together before our lot have their turn. I just hope the Wiggles don't play better against the A than we do.
