    Tell me, Eve, is that great fish & chips shop still open across from the stadium. A couple of ladies ran in last time I was there and you could barely fit six customers into the shop at one time, but it was well worth the line-up. Ate my order as fast as I could and then finished it off in the line-up for more!

    I don't know Tundra my last visit to Gresty Road was back in 2005 I'll check it out this Saturday!

    Tundra, if it is the same one that chip shop has been there forever. Gresty Road going south runs into Gresty Lane, back in the sixties there used to be a small GWR engine shed there that we used to "bunk" on a regular basis. The chip shop was a traditional stop off on the way back to the station. Small world!

    Tundra, it's been three years since i was on the same coach as you to the Crewe friendly, i'd say there's every chance it's still there.
