One of my all time favourites and in the slide show you mentioned was the one from David Coleman "'If that had gone in, it would have been a goal.'

The one that sticks in my mind, can't remember who or where but it was "yes at this stage of the game he must be a very happy manager to have a fresh set of legs up his sleeve"! X-D

Conjures up a wonderful picture. Sweeney, how about some nifty graphics?

David Coleman!!! He was a class apart remember his commentary from the Montreal Olympics 1976? Alberto Juantorena seeing off the opposition in the 400m final(?)... 'The big Cuban opened his legs and showed his class'

    Colemanballs!

    1. And the line up for the final of the Women's 400 metres hurdles includes three Russians, two East Germans, a Pole, a Swede and a Frenchman.

    2. That's the fastest time ever run - but it's not as fast as the world record.

    3. The Republic of China - back in the Olympic Games for the first time.

    4. Linford Christie's got a habit of pulling it out when it matters most.

    5. The late start is due to the time.
