    What's the price...

... of an ale in your area?

My locals are roughly 2.80 for lager or 80shilling and 3 quids for Guinness or cider.
Went to the new Wetherspoons in the Ferry last week, 1.99 for lager, that's bound to have the pubs around it frothing at the mouth, as they charge over 3 quids a pint.
Had a few pints of Heineken in London last month 4.70 a pint

    Guinness about four quid.

    Cooking bitter about 3.20/3.30

    F**k them prices.

The pubs up here are dying a death, they were quiet on Saturday night after the match and that was with the bonus of United buses returning from Glasgow.
I blame the return of Britains Got Talent.

I heard tonight, Ferrari's and The Cask have closed Last month The Snug closed, although I can't class them as regular drinking haunts, I would pay them a visit from time to time after the football. I wonder if some other idiot will try and make a go of them.
