    Nigel Pearson

    Breath of fresh air.

    Always calm, articulate and honest.
Maybe easy to come across this way when you are trouncing your league but I think he will do well next season.
Fondly remembered at Newcastle and good luck. A good, hard working team.

Don't get me wrong, he is no Pepe "I got the tactics totally wrong again but I'm a nice man so it's all ok" Mel, but he is getting there.

A good honest player and manager. I always liked him...except for the period 2004-2006 of course

Congrats to him and Leicester for getting promoted to the Prem. Had to feel for them last year as they suffered a loss to Watford in the playoffs on that ridiculous finish.

Very likable clubs sitting in the automatic promotion spots in Leicester and Burnley. As long as QPR don't win the playoffs, I'll be pulling hard for the three promoted clubs in the Prem next season.

As a Burnley fan I'll thank you for those comments. As for Nigel Pearson, he always strikes me as a thoroughly decent, honest and likeable chap.

He's done a good job, second time around at Leicester, backed well by the owners.

With Vokes down for the run-in, Jeremy, what are the odds you'll gain automatic promotion nonetheless?

It's in our own hands now Tundra. That's the worry though
