    Play Off Twist

Gentlemen , have a seat and think about this scenario. Now , I have said all along that we will finish fourth and no higher. I reckon that we can secure fourth place next week and then REST players in the final league game for the play off on 6th May. With the top three being so close, they could well be FORCED to play their strongest 11 right till the end of the season. We might be fresher than our opponents on the Tues night play off if all goes to plan.

yeah if Dumbarton lose to Hamilton then that is 4th spot confirmed (unless they can go to Dundee and win around 10-0).

The manager could then probably give Lewis Kidd, Kev USA, Slattery, Carmichael the majority of the game v Cowdenbeath so we are fresh for the first leg.

Would Tue 6th v Falkirk at Palmy defo be situation, presuming the league positions don't change? And Sat 10th away.

Suspensions could also play a part. Is there a website where one can go and see how many cards players are away from a ban?

I thought too many bookings brought about a 1 match ban immediately?
    Raith (6th yellow)
    Dumbarton (can play)
    Livi (can play)
    Cowdenbeath (Raith ban)

    How does that work?

Suspensions take 2 weeks to kick in unless it's a red card & you automatically miss the next game

ah right ok, I've learned something new.
Although be interested to know WHY they take 2 weeks to "kick in"?
Obviously if it was a World Cup Semi Final and a player got a yellow which activated a ban it would put a player out of the next game, the final. Guess this is just a Scottish football procedure thing?

To summarise what I was trying to say because I don't think I made myself clear. Simply this , that I think its more beneficial to finish fourth rather than third IF we wrap up the fourth spot play off this Saturday.
