Thread: Forest in the Playoffs

    re: Forest in the Playoffs

I don't fear Forest. Although we are three points apiece this season, the game at the City Ground was tight even with Forest having home advantage and a near full strength side and, well, everyone knows what happened at the Ipro don't they...

I am more concerned about Wigan and QPR. They are both organised and physical sides that can play to boot. We struggled with both this season and more generally with teams of their type. I worry that the Wembley pitch (should we be fortunate enough to get there)while suiting our forward play, will expose our defensive frailties against those sides.

We have had an absolutely fantastic season whatever happens and all credit should go where it is due, but in my opinion we have had a 'top two' standard attack coupled to a decidedly mid-table defence (back four) prone to sloppiness.

I can only hope our attacking prowess outweighs any defensive weaknesses on the day, should it come!?!

I would dread paying forest, that ship has sailed this season, can't be dealing with it again.

Nah bring em on... Would be the easiest option for us. I am more worried about the others, we dont have great records against Brighton, Reading or Ipswich.
