    Cowdenbeath v Queens

Will we rest players for this game ?.
Surely we should start with Young Jim in goal Higgians Kidd Young Carmichal McHugh and if fit McKenna and Riley should all start.
It is hard on Alloa but we must do what is best for us.

    100% agree.

Edited to say I 90% agree. I am not so sure it is hard on Alloa because the bench is pretty strong and the guys coming in would have a point to prove.

Resting players who you expect to start in the play off game would seem the sensible thing to do. I would not like to bet any money that McInyyre will do this . Just think of the Alloa 0-0 game after the Hearts cup tie . Before anyone makes a comment of this being a dig at the boss , just ask yourself if true or not .

Have to say true. Its been a strange kind of season. I think it has to be categorised overall as successful as we made the play offs and a big well done has to go to the players and management team for accomplishing that.
There have been some strange selection decisions by the manager particularly in early part of season when our form was poor and this has resurfaced again recently.
The managers judgement must seriously be called into question if he risks important players this coming Sat v Cowdenbeath such as Durnan in a nothing game for us.
Lets give him the benefit of the doubt and presume that all the guys tha

Well that's a saving grace that the decision for at least 2 regulars is out of the managers hands.

It's a difficult one as we should keep the momentum going and we owe it to Alloa to put a strong team out. Plus we don't want to lose 6-0.

However giving a few of the squad a run is a good idea if we make our way through the play offs.

    Home banker.

Fully expect usual guys off the bench to start.
plus Reilly to figure, if getting over an injury.

If we lose by 6 and Sons beat Dundee by same margin, then they are welcome to the play-offs!

It would be insane not to rest a plethora of players next Saturday, but at the same time trying out and testing some of the fringe players.

If, and it is a huge if, Queens were to progress through the play-offs, - they will have six cup finals in three weeks, so it is essential that they rest the first choice players and try out the second choice, as they may well need to rely on them.

Have to say that Jim McIntyre has done a superb job of guiding Queens to the play-offs.
