Everton Scouts Keep An Eye On Michy Batshuayi

    Everton eye Belgian ace.

Everton sent scouts to Belgium at the weekend to keep an eye on Standard Liege hotshot Michy Batshuayi.

Roberto Martinez will lose his current top scorer, on-loan Romelu Lukaku, in the summer and he is believed to be lining up Batshuayi as a potential replacement.

The Spanish manager sent scouts to watch the Belgian during Standard Liege's 2-1 defeat at Anderlecht.

The 20-year-old has had a prolific season for Standard Liege, netting 20 times in 35 league appearances.

Everton are not the only European club interested though. Benfica, who have already denied reports they've agreed a deal to sign Batshuayi, also watched him during Sunday's match, while Arsenal have been linked with him in the past.

Would he be any cheaper or easier to obtain than the other Belgian ace ?
