    I think you will find that you are paying for them whether they are in their stables or on duty, (the horses that is, not the police riders) so why not use them. Anyway thanks to them I'm expecting my roses to look extra good this year.

    These horses play an important role in crowd control and have to be trained in real live situations. Last nite provided an ideal scenario for training . Two of the mounted police were ladies and they explained to me that the Scottish Police have 21 horses and they have to be trained on a regular basis .
