I am going with Uruguay, a bit of a dark horse, but have a strong squad this year and it may help for the following reasons:

being played in South America;
less travel time;
similar food and temperatures;
easier access to games for supporters.

The biggest downside though is that they are in a group with Italy and England.

I think it will difficult for any of the non South America Countries to win it. However Germany must always be considered and I think Belgium have a strong squad.

Probably the Hosts Brazil but I'll go for Argentina.

If the WC was in Europe, Asia, Australia, or North America, if say it was Germany's time. But since it is in SA, I'll go with Argentina
