It isn't unheard of for attendances to be skimmed although that's usually in cup games. Went to one non-league game where there was clearly over 2,000 on and the crowd was given as just over 1,000. Net result is 1,000 ticket revenues that wasn't shared with the illustrious visitors or the FA!

Two small town clubs like us and Burnley should be proud of ourselves in this day and age of elitism and foreign owned clubs in the top two leagues. Why are we bickering like this - we're on the same side. The 'enemy' are the likes of Chelsea, City, QPR and Utd - they are the ones who steal all the fans, and exist mainly to make money rather than to play football. I only wish we could have joined Burnley at the top table. Good luck to them and to us next season

I just wonder how many we would have taken had we rightfully won through to the final. I think it would have been a lot less than the 47000 QPR took. Fair play, although they've had Redknapp's luck throughout, they probably deserve to be in the top league with that fan base. Do we ?
