Thread: Pathetic crowd

    Pathetic crowd

Sorry to say it, but I don't think we deserve to be in the Premier League - 14,500 - for one of the most important games in the club's history! Just pathetic - no excuses about limited budgets or whatever - it is just pathetic, embarrassing and demotivating for the club and players. Let's get real, we don't belong in the top league with pathetic crowds like that. Maybe, that nutter from Burnley has a point - we are really a Bury or Rochdale punching above our weight, after all. I sense that this is the beginning of the end

The bloke from Burnley doesn't have a point, considering we had bigger average attendances than them this season. Despite Burnley having the greatest season for many decades.

Must admit did think there was a lot more than 14,500 tonight, West Stand was busiest all season and there looked to be a large amount in the East Stand.

Looked around 18,000 on, everyone around us was shocked when the attendance was read out.

Phuck attendances the crowd do not touch the ball, This is a player / manager thing Too many Phuckers bothered about how many bums on seats, yes it would be nice but do not forget your root's ala Springfield Park attendances,Wigan Athletic the team nobody want's to face in the modern day, let them fear us and let us make sure they do, Too many Wiganers listen to the b0llux other fans fart out of their orifices and do not concentrate on what is right b4 their eye's, we are better than this and we should be tearing new ones over and over. This is in my eye's only, A mental problem as we seemed comfortable in possession and also passing, The final conversion should be in attendance more than what it has done this season but alas we had the phuckwit in charge at the beginning of the season and we have never really got our sh!t together even with the amount of games Uve has had to find his first 11, a full pre-season with Uve could make a massive difference, when Leicester fans say secon

Unfortunately that's Wiganers for you...a lot of the time we get stick which is totally out of order as we're a small club in a small town.

However, there are times like times when you wonder what people want...A?20 to watch a play-off game and 5,000 chose to sit on their backsides. When he sees gates like that, Whelan must wonder why he bothers.

As for the game, not the greatest, QPR borrowed Jose's bus and we wasted the 2 best chances to break the deadlock. Still, 0-0 gives us every chance of going there and getting a result

Come on Latics...we can do this

Although I agree with your comments on the crowd you must realise that that match tonight would of cost a family of five 70 dabs a lot of money in this day and age although I did see plenty of kids there tonight .On a plus side it is 3000 more people in he ground than the last semi frinal staged there against Aresnal nearly ten years ago

There was about 7,000 in the East Stand, 5,000 in the West Stand and about 1,500-2,000 in the South Stand with 3,500 in the QPR end.

There were about 14,500 tickets sold before the match, so it seems as though pay on the gate haven't been added on.

That would make it about 17,000 which looked about right looking at the stands and considering the Stadium holds 25,000. Absolutely no way was there over 10,000 empty seats.
