    Alf - off-topic because I can't remember which thread your comments about Tomkins were on. Everything went right for the NZ Warriors last weekend, when they thrashed the Raiders. Tomkins was superb, but I have to say he's a heart-in-the-mouth, high-risk sort of player. He made two instinctive tap-on passes which led to tries.
    The Warriors have lots of those sorts of players, actually, but the defence was much improved, so the risks weren't outweighed by the mistakes.
    They play the top team, the Bulldogs on Saturday, which should be much more of a test.

    Yes it was a fantastic achievement so well done . JW spent his money wisely on players , management , the Academy and an all but new ground and that little lot cost millions . Without him you'd have been similar to us over the last 19 years or so . Gloat all you want .

    We're there on merit and we've spent nowt 'cos we have nowt and we know full well we could drop down again next season and we'll accept it if it happens . Maybe you could try to get back up without all the stupid salaries and transfer fees you've paid since you came down . Now that WOULD be an achievement that not many clubs can boast about eh lads ?
