    Penalties

Its now official we were the hardest done by club in the whole league last season with regards to penalties. Aberdeen were favoured most by getting 9 and conceding only 2 next came celtic getting 8 and conceding 2. We got 2 only killie got less in 1 but we got 6 given against us which meant we were minus 4 when aberdeen were plus 7 and celtic plus 6 no other team were worse than minus 4 so all in all makes 2nd place even more of an achievement

More than a little surprising. Given our 'goals for', we must have been attacking a lot, so the lack of pens is puzzling. Aberdeen (and I'm not picking on them because of Sunday's 'we wuz robbed' reaction) have, for a team which , according to posts from their own fans, don't attack with much consistency or conviction, have done very well. And on a purely impressionistic level, how their defence has only conceded two is above 'puzzling'. I'd say that they'd done no' bad on the big decisions, but the Dandies won't believe that!

I am not a fan of "Stats". I believe that they don't really have any meaning. I know that a lot of managers are into Pass completion %, Possession % ,and so on. To me it is a load of BS.

The only stat that maters is the score at the end of the day, Just look at the stats from the game last week. In every stat you can think of, Aberdeen where miles ahead. What was the final score again?.
