O/T The Happiest Places to Live in the UK.

The happiest places to live in the UK has been revealed - and it is not in the capital. A survey by Rightmove asked more than 55,000 respondents a series of questions relating to safety, the price and happiness of their home and neighbourliness of the area and found surprising results. Take a look at the top ten - and find out where the unhappiest place to live in the UK is.

Interesting, but I imagine that many would have a very different list than that produced from the 55,000 who contributed to this survey. - view external link

Rather predictable results, communities that offer the basic amenities, but are not too large or too small.

The least desirable place in the London area? No surprise there, I bet Fulham is a factor in that decision; my step-daughter lives there and every second week the area is host to Heathrow's flight path with planes roaring overhead every few minutes for 20 hours a day (and night)!

    TOP TEN WORST TOWNS

    1. London

    2. Bradford

    3. Chipping Norton

    4. Southampton

    5. York

    6. Gibraltar

    7. Coventry

    8. Nuneaton

    9. High Wycombe

    10. Stoke-on-Trent - view external link
