At this part of his career he needs to move forward and championship football next year would be a good start. Personally I think he is better than L1 football and he can earn a lot more elsewhere.

He is technically superb and I have no doubt he can do it at the Championship. The only thing he lacks is a turn of pace to go along with his ability. Good luck to him anyway!

Fulham and Charlton are rumoured to be interested.
Fulham, probably end up in their u-21s team
Charlton, well they may struggle again and what is their youth development like.

I think there is a good possibility he may return to Crewe

    re: Chucks

Cos he was contracted to Arsenal, young, needed to play and the parent club liked us...

    Not anymore. Now...

Older and free to move. Can command a good signing on fee and wage. Will want to play at the highest level and as close to his home as possible (London boy). Loads of clubs in Lg1 that would be more appealing to him than us, but he'll be looking for higher than lg1 I imagine. "Free" is a powerful tool for him and his agent, the reality is it'll be too much for Crewe.

Fulham interested already, and I bet Orient and Brentford are too. We had him for 2 years, not sure we'd have had that if he was our product

    Chuks has left the building.

    Spot on!

From getting moaned at constantly in his first few games to being applauded when warming up by the end of his tenure here...Chuks proved the doubters wrong (incl. me!) and he left on a high note.

Would love to see him back but he is better than we could hope to get and I just hope he goes on to have a good career.

Steve said he was like "one of ours" and I think he has left with that general opinion from most fans.
