    Zarate...The English/Sam, Sam/English dictionary.

    Having left the sound of Bow Bells at an early age, I got an education.

    And since I moved out West I took it further. I am in fact one of the few English people to be able to speak Sam fluently.

    Sam is a local dialect found only in Dudley.

    I'll translate a piece from Ken Dyer in today's Standard for you, written in Sam, about Mauro Zarate.

    Sam.

    He is a different type of player to what we have already got, which is what we have been looking for a while. He is small, sharp and quick and has good feet, so hopefully he can give us another dimension.

    English Translation.

    He is unfortunately a more skillful player to what we have already got, which is one that those old tossers have been looking for a while. He is too small and what have his feet got to do with anything ? Hopefully he can give the reserves another dimension.
