    Right half.

I'll post this for the younger generation to show what you're talking about!

1 goalkeeper. 2 right back. 3 left back. 4(Southernrams position, the Alan Durban of his day)right half. 5 centre half. 6 left half. 7 right wing. 8 inside right. 9 centre forward. 10 inside left(my position). 11 left wing. Those were the days.

Come on then lets hear it, what positions did you play in the formation of the 2-3-5 days.

I wonder what would happen if a formation like that was tried nowadays . The old formation looks very attack heavy , but I can't recall the scores being much different to today .

Be careful lads, florest fans are mildly autistic and can't follow sarcasm. They'll take everything literally here.

Right Back... mostly of the non overlapping style, since I was ****e

But most games we played were in about 90 degrees heat and 80+% humidity, so I really don't get why a hungover group of a pub side can play in those conditions yet the super fit professional England team are worried about playing in Manaus.

Maybe they might run around a bit more?

If it's a forward from the Netherlands, Castaignos is the most likely, Finbogasson would cost loads and he's linked with prem teams, I hope we look at a winger who was on trail at palace at the start of the season.
Owusu Abeyie Quincy plays for paninthiakos and is extremely skill full, a deal with palace could not be reached last year and thus wasnt bought by them. I think he used to play for Arsenal too.

I was a regular Left Back.

I was left back in the changing rooms until I finally got the message and tried golf instead.

I was **** at that too.

Striker! Play best just of a big man.

360 vision and good finisher, but awful physically and a bit of a whiney git.

Talking of old formations, I've always liked the look of the old 'wm'

It wasn't really, the front five were a W formation with inside right and inside left dropping back. I myself was outside right although on many occasions I was outside left as it was more difficult to fill that position.

I always figured you as a left winger Awkward. You probably went on the Jarrow March too back then.
