    Will be...

"Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino will make Swansea left back Ben Davies his first signing after getting the green light to talk to him.

Spurs have agreed a fee worth up to AŁ8 million the Welsh club for Davies, who is heading for London to agree terms.

Davies seems sure to make the White Hart Lane switch and the chance to fill the boots once worn by his fellow Welshman Gareth Bale.

Pochettinoa€™s move is bad news for Danny Rose, but young Davies is a better defender and the Argentinian admires those qualities."

Sorry Ben Davies, then Bony and then Scheidelin

So where does that leave BAE?
We will have to get rid.

Realistically, I don't think we will sign any midfielders. We now have Carroll back. Where does he fit in -another loan spell? Also Holtby is back. Capoue, Sandro, Dembele, Pauly, Eriksen, Lennon, Townsend, Chadli, Lamela, Siggy, Bentaleb someone will have to go won't they.
QPR fans did not rate Carroll at all last season. They couldn't see what all the fuss was about. I think if he impressed they would have bought him, or tried.
We do need to sell BAE.
    We need another LB
    We need a CB

You could also say we need a striker.

I honestly cannot see us finishing above two of either City, Chelsea, Man U, Arse or Liverpool with this squad. Unless that is Liverpool's defence does not improve and they dry up up front and Manure have another dodgy season.

We need to score a lot more goals than we concede though, simple.
Last season we scored (per match) 55 (1.45)
and conceded (per match) 51 (1.34)

    That's simply not good enough.

So, to compete for a top 4 finish we will have to improve our

Would be quite happy with this...

"Mauricio Pochettino is poised to make his first signing at Tottenham Hotspur with the AŁ10 million capture of Ben Davies, the Swansea City defender.
Pochettino, the Spurs head coach, believes he has defeated Liverpool in the chase for the Wales international and could complete a deal over the weekend.
Spurs agreed a fee for Davies with Swansea earlier this week but feared they would miss out on the left-back after Liverpool stepped up their interest with an AŁ8 million bid, which was rejected by the Welsh club."
