Incidentally, not worth starting up a thread over this, but I note that last year's target Danny Hylton has gone to Oxford, where he can team up with the Secret Footballer to form a potent strike force.

I'm not too concerned (a Sam Winnall he wasn't), but he should sue Rotherham for wasting a player's time.

While we won't get a fee for him, we've certainly had value for money when you think about some of the big games he's played a big part in.

However, I will find it hard to wish him good luck if he goes to the Vale!

it's a funny one. people say he put in effort and just had a languid playing style, but that languid playing style seemed to disappear in the *big* games; the last game v preston for example, and at wembley. Makes you wonder if he could have put a bit more in in other games?
And I'll be quite surprised if he doesn't go to vale now, but who knows

Byron showed no loyalty here, he seemed set to go every season, his form was inconsistent and like many here blew hot and cold!

I hoped Byron would sign another contract with us but I suppose this now gives SD the opportunity to bring in another player, I doubt we would have seen any new faces otherwise.
