For someone who likes to spout history you really need to check facts first.

I think you have already told me the answer ie:- he played for St Marys and not Southampton. Its quite obvious, really, as Southampton didn't exist until after he had played his last game.

It is amusing, these skate oddballs on here all the time informing us of our football team and how we will do next season.

I suppose it is more interesting talking about the Premiership.

    First game Liverpool.

Who have they got? Hereford? Exeter? Tooting? Who gives a toss.

    Loving it, Up the Saints.

They're oddballs right enough. Never go to watch the team they claim to support though.

So Miller has a footbridge and a restaurantd after him. Hmm maybe when Soton council cop on they might give planning permission for a statue of some sort to be erected next to the soon to be Spitfire monument. (70 years later)
They might even copy the Portsmouth way and a street after him.
Mind you it's not often you get the chance to celebrate a local hero.
Is there a Benny hill Way in Southampton?

I think first game is Exeter - good side too, or were when we played them. Exeter can also stake a claim to having taken football to Brazil, having toured Brazil before us.

Some bloke going abroad and explaining a few rules of a game is hardly earth shattering but Exeter doing any sort of world tour...how did that come about, Braz?
