Struggling with the numbers are we Champs?
Steven Reid signs one year deal with Burnley.
Sorry to p1ss on your parade.
Still plays football!!! Thought he'd stopped playing years ago. Just signed for the Mighty Clarets. Not a bad squad they are building for the season after next. Not a bad idea for a squad player in El Champo.

Sorry Bin On't Turf I failed to care about or read his contractual obligation to you. Are the other 2 freebies on 1 year contracts aswell? Ask your mate Claret TonyOriginally Posted by Stan_van_nel
SR for us (before injuries) was a great player, but as said by Champs (banter aside), I am non too sure he is now up to it at that level.
He is akin to Dunny for us, its there in the head, but the body these days cannot rise up to deliver (as much and as often they would wish).
My guess is SD has 'off field' plans for him.
(Old pals act?)
It seems that Dyche has a certain character of player in mind when signing anyone.
Would Reid fit into the mentally strong, very busy type player?
no, he fits into the `over the hill by about 5 years` catagory X-DOriginally Posted by Quickenthetempo

You can only sit back in amazement (followed by fits of laughter) at a fan of club who's signed Chris Brown and Luke Varney for the division below, who is trying to take the p1ss out of another.
This ironic parade has been cancelled.
Despite the banter I liked Reidy and I wish him all the best.
As always with him it is whether he can stay fit or not.
That certainly is the concern Rvblue.
Although he's only really been brought in for the squad, you still need all of them to be fit.
