    Jonny Depo said as much.

You could not have picked a worse example Sax.
it`s well known in the industry that depp has turned down roles that focus on his looks since he was a ****ager..

    couldn`t give a sh1t what you say champs..[/quote]

So you responded first, then say say don't give a ****.

Someone's getting a bit wound up.

Your wrong though about Depp. I imagine you know as much about that industry as you do football

This topic proves that Mary has properly lost it.

There's two major difference though. All of those players, despite having big global presence, never had Beckham's level of superstardom. If you were to believe the level of media hype equated to his level of ability, you would think Beckham was easily the best player who ever lived. Which brings us to the other difference...he just wasn't. All three players you mentioned were far better footballers than Beckham.

Beckham was a good player. A very good player. But I genuinely never felt there was a single point of his career where he was one of the top 20 players in the world. Saxo is right- if Beckham looked like Luke Chadwick, he never would have achieved this level of fame. He'd still have been famous,

I would join this 'debate'...if I gave two f***s about 'celebrities'.
These people live in their own little universe and thrive off attention, it is vomit inducing.
But you guys carry on wasting your lives talking about them

    Just remembered (back to footie).
Two good pieces from Martin Samuel re: FFP and heavy reference towards Villa FC (plus other 'lesser clubs'). And the demise of BPool FC
