    rangers were "put down" to division 3 as a punishment.

    according to those living a fantasy.

    how the fek can a club be put down 3 divisions.

    maybe the truth is something else.

    Rangers were demoted because Craig Whyte didn't pay taxes and the Scottish football authorities thought the club starting in the bottom tier was the appropriate punishment.

    Two seasons on and Rangers are in the Championship.

    The SPL did not have the jurisdiction tae put Rangers down tae the bottom division. Not paying taxes and NI actually resulted in the club going intae administration, a 15 point punishment from the same football authority, so they had already given out their maximum punishment for this type of event.

    The Rangers phenomenon is becoming a world sporting legend. We did what The Brooklyn Dodgers couldn't.

    Its hardly a feckin achievement, Woly. And a lot of the teams you were up against had some of their best players working backshift.
